Baseball Advance is a baseball game developed by Smilebit (Company) and published by both THQ (Company) and Sega (Company) for the Game Boy Advance (Platform) in North America on March 20, 2002.
One of the earliest baseball games developed for the system and based on Sega's World Series Baseball (Franchise) series, Baseball Advance features teams from Major League Baseball (Concept) and pre-rendered 3D graphics.
It later received a Japanese release by Sega (Company) on August 8, 2002, where it is known as Greatest Nine. A short-lived revival of the Greatest Nine (Franchise) sister series, it switches from the MLB's roster to that from Nippon Professional Baseball (Concept).
