Overview
Astro Boy, known in Japan as Astro Boy: Tetsuwan Atom, is a sci-fi superhero open-world action-adventure game developed by Sonic Team (Company) and published by Sega (Company) for the PlayStation 2 (Platform) in Japan on March 2004, in North America on August 2004, and in Europe on February 2005.
Based on the anime series of the same name, and a tie-in to its 2003-2004 revival, Astro Boy puts players in the role of the eponymous boy robot as he deals a variety of robotic threats in and around Metro City, unlocking new superpowers along the way.
