A dragon fantasy series inspired by Star Wars and Lord of the Rings. Eragon is a series of games based on the book and movie of the same name.  As of 2008, there have been four games developed under the license.

Eragon (PS2 / Xbox / Xbox360 / PC)

• Developed by Stormfront Studios, Eragon is a hack and slash action/adventure game not unlike their previous work on Lord of the Rings: Two Towers and Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone.

Eragon (PSP)

• In contrast to their PC and console offerings, Stormfront's PSP game is a flight-based action game that casts the player into the role of Saphira, Eragon's dragon.

Eragon (GBA)

• Developed by Amaze Entertainment, this version of Eragon is a more traditional 2D RPG noted for its unusualy well refined gameplay mechanics.

Eragon (DS)

• The final Eragon game released and developed by Griptonite, the DS Eragon game is a solo action/adventure/RPG that has been compared to as a downsampled, portable, Oblivion-like game.
