Unlike Boss Bass (Concept), which breached the surface of the water to attack Mario (Character) and Luigi (Character), Big Bertha stays underwater and carry baby Cheep-Cheeps in their mouth, letting them out to attack Mario and Luigi. A humanoid character based on the fish character from Super Mario Bros. 3 was featured in the Super Mario Bros. film. She had an attraction toward Mario and wore a red, spiky leather outfit and was the bouncer of the Boom Boom (Character) Bar.
