This happen when a player fires a rocket/missile launcher in a game, the back of the rocket launcher throws some dangerous flames.

==Overview == The backblast is a mechanic present in games for the sole purpose to strive for realism and add an inconvenient to rocket/missile launchers and recoilless rifles, this inconvenient prevents players to fire these weapons in confined spaces and with friendly NPCs behind them. It start a conflagration if there is something flammable in the backblast area.
