Articuno is a ice/flying-type legendary pokemon. Using its great wings, Articuno blasts powerful Arctic-cold air toward its opponents.

Articuno is one of the three legendary bird Pokemon found in Pokemon ' 'Red/Blue/' 'Yellow/' 'FireRed/LeafGreen. It is residing on the Seafoam Islands amidst some high currents. You will find it at level 50, and as most Legendary Pokemon are, it is very difficult to catch.
In Pokemon ' 'Gold/Silver/' 'Crystal, Articuno is only available through a trade with the previous games.
Articuno is also Obtainable in Pokemon XD as a shadow pokemon and Pokémon Platinum (Game), where it is a roaming legendary.
