Some of gog.com's releases are also those of current games such as Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams and FTL: Faster Than Light. These games usually require no additional involvement from gog.com's devs, and the site simply acts as a storefront for these releases. Some of the older games being released, are distributed worldwide, allowing access to the games to be played by those in countries who would not have had access to the physical media upon initial release. Since early 2015, GOG.com is also a publisher, with their first self-published classic release being Fantasy General (Game), followed by Pacific General (Game) and in July 2015, several Warhammergames.
