Overview

The company was founded in 1984 by Hans Rabe and Jürgen Goeldner in the German city Kaarst. The parent company Rushware (Company) initially published computer- and videogames under this label. In 1986 Softgold was founded as a subsidiary of Rushware and the existing labels Eurogold/Eurogold Starline were intergrated into it and used for a while.
