Elixir Studios was founded in 1998 by child prodigy, neuroscientist, and former Lionhead Studios employee Demis Hassabis (Person). The studio only developed two games: Republic: The Revolution in 2003 and Evil Genius (Game) in 2004. Elixir Studios closed in 2005.
In 2006 it was announced that Rebellion (Company) acquired the rights to Elixir Studios' games.

Republic: The Revolution, is a 2003 political strategy game, where the goal is to Overthrow the fictional eastern european dictatorship of Novistrana. You can recruit church leaders, ex-military, dissident polticians, union organizers, gangsters, ect. to help win over influence. The games is turnbased and had great graphics for it's time.
