Verso
A member of Expedition Zero who had a falling out with Renoir. He joins Expedition 33 in their quest to kill the Paintress.

One of the first Expedition members sent from Lumiere to destroy the Paintress, he turned functionally immortal while wandering the continent. With Renoir finding a sort of daughter and refusing to complete his mission, he attacked the other members of the Expedition, and further would destroy future Expeditions he came across to protect the Paintress and his own immortality. Verso was originally content to explore the world, but after seeing the progress made by Expedition 33, Verso decided he could no longer be a bystander, and would help them finish the job he couldn't.
Following Gustave (Character)'s death at the hands of Renoir (Character), Verso takes over as a sort of leader for the party.
In game, Verso equips the same swords, though he fights with dual blades instead of a sword and pistol like Gustave does.
Verso's unique trait is "Perfection." Starting at grade D and increasing all the way to grade S with each hit, parry, or dodge he does in one battle. His battle skills can be enhanced when the Perfection grade hits a specific letter. However, getting hit by enemies or certain skill effects will reduce his Perfection grade.
