Umi Ryuuzaki is a primary protagonist in the series Magic Knight Rayearth (Game). A 14 year old student in the series, Umi, along with Hikaruand Fuuare teleported to the world of Cefiro in order to save the planet from High Priest Zagato. Umi, more than the other Legendary Magic Knights, desperately wants to return to Earth. Her participation in an upcoming fencing tournament is often used a driving reason. Umi is tied to the element of water, making all of her magic water-based, and is defensive in nature. She uses a rapier as her primary weapon (later upgraded).
