Hikaru Shidou is a primary protagonist in the series Magic Knight Rayearth (Game). A 14 year old student in the series, Hikaru, along with Umi and Fuu are teleported to the world of Cefiro in order to save the planet from High Priest Zagato. Hikaru is the headstrong leader of the three Legendary Magic Knights, and is the tied to the element of fire. A student of kendo (of which her family ran a dojo) and skilled in the use of swords, Hikaru is the most headstrong of the trio, at times brash and childish. Hikaru’s magic is all based on fire, and is offensive in nature. She uses a sword as her primary weapon (later upgraded).
