One of two secret characters in Final Fantasy VI, Umaro is a Yeti who can be found in the mines of Narshe.

Umaro is found late in the game during the World of Ruin, though he can be seen in the mines early in the game. After the group fights him over a Magicite, Mog is able to calm him down and have him join the party. Umaro cannot use magic, Espers, or anything besides his original equipment. He cannot be controlled in battle, though with certain relics, he will sometimes throw party members or use an ice attack.    Umaro is always  in berserk mode, uncontrollable to the player.
