Tiamat
A recurring boss in the Final Fantasy series, Tiamat is a multi-headed dragon inspired by the Dungeons & Dragons entity of the same name and form. In the original Final Fantasy, she is the last of the Four Fiends.

The Dungeons and Dragons version of Tiamat is the Queen of Chromatic Dragons and (at least in 1st Edition D&D) rules the first plane of the 9 Hells. While she may be inspired by the original Tiamat, she has no relation to the Mother Goddess figure outside of the name and should be considered a seperate character. In Final Fantasy, she is invariably the fiend of wind, quite different from the Babylonian deity who is the living embodiment of salt-water.
