Scruffy is the Planet Express company's janitor. Scruffy spends most of his time in the boiler room reading pornography instead of working. Everyone else at the company seems to forget who he is every time they meet him. Interestlingly, Scruffy often seems to forget who they are himself. He usually refers to himself in the third person, and always identifies himself to others as "Scruffy, the Janitor."
