Early Life

Hermione Granger is the daughter of two muggle (non-wizard) parents and first found out that she was a witch at the age of eleven, the same age at which she started to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Teenage Years

She is well know for having a crush on Ron Weasley (Character), which is not really acted on until the last game. You never really learn much about her outside of her adventures in Hogwarts.

Video Games

Hermione appears mainly as a support character in the action oriented Harry Potter video games. She is given a more active role in the Lego Harry Potter series though. Being a book-smart character, she possesses the rune reading ability in the Lego games. This ability allows the her to decipher mystical symbols which activates a simple mini-game where the player must activate the symbols in the order they lit up. Hermione also has her pet cat Crookshanks. Pets are used to typically either dig in special areas or crawl through simple pipes in order to find items or solve puzzles. Crookshanks is one of the few pets that has access to both of these abilities.
