Cornelius Fudge was the Minister of Magic from 1990 to 1996. He was an intelligent man with a confident sense of speaking and an interesting fashion sense (didn't go anywhere without that bowler hat!!) but he was very stubborn and unlucky. He was not hated, per se, by many of his listed "enemies" actually; he just was not on good terms with any of them by the end of his term which is one of his last known public appearances. constantly denied that Voldemort had returned in 1995. He insisted that "he's not back" and said that Harry Potter (Character) and Dumbledore were manufacturing lies. However, he finally and immediately, gave in upon his first sighting of Voldemort at the Ministry of Magicafter he fought with Dumbledore in an epic duel. He resigned shortly after, proclaiming the Dark Lord's return.
