A writer troubled by Alan Wake and his nightmares, delving into Bright Falls to uncover the truth behind his obsession.


Overview Clay Stewards is the fictional author of the Alan Wake (Character) Files, based on the his finding of Agent Nightingale (Character)'s journal in his room at the Majestic Motel. His pursues happen after the events described in the game.    In the game he appears in a brief sequence the a shared dream with Alan Wake, where he dies by the axe.     This and other unusual dreams and the find that they actually took place in a real location where he has never been - Bright Falls (Location) - led him to abandon his family in Madison (Wisconsin) - wife and son -, lose his job and go looking for the truth.     At Bright Falls, he investigated and help rebuild the town from "bad weather", still getting little insight to what happened to Alan Wake and Nightingale as the locals weren't too receptive to the matter.     Eventually he gave up, and returned to an empty apartment as his wife and newly born son abandoned him. After a while he got a job as an assistant in the basement of the local University and was welcomed back into his family.
