Carmelo Anthony is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Portland Trail Blazers.

Carmelo Anthony played 3 of his 4 years of high school basketball at Towson Catholic High School, then transferred to Oak Hill Academy for his senior year. He was named to the McDonald's All-American Team and committed to play college basketball at Syracuse University. Anthony only played one year at Syracuse, but he led them to the NCAA tournament title.Afterwards, he declared for the 2003 NBA Draft where he was selected 3rd overall by the Denver Nuggets (Concept). Anthony has become one of the elite players in the NBA, and has averaged just over 25 points per game for his career and has been named an NBA All-Star 7 times. During the 2010-2011 season Anthony was traded to the New York Knicks (Concept) in a multi-team deal. He re-signed with the Knicks before the 2014-2015 season to a reported five-year deal. Anthony has had several involvements with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtlesbrand: in addition to creating a clothing line called Turtles X Melo, he also cameoed in their 2016 film "Out of the Shadows" and appeared in an issue of their "Amazing Adventures" comic book series, where he was mutated into an armadillo man that Michelangelo (Character) named "Carmadello".
