The Bareitonas were initially a bio engineer project to serve as mounts for the HareBritnneys while they roamed the earth's surface, since their main way of locomotion is hoping, flying seemed like a great faster solution. Their name is a mix from the Portuguese words "Barata" and "Azeitona", which means respectively "Roach" and "Olive", as these two elements were the basis of their DNA. Extremely tough, and devoted to their creators, they protect the HareBritnneys at all costs. Seeing them developed also many abilities for hard heavy work, as well as ability to speak, in the present day they are seen as members of the HareBritnney society, not just mounts.
