Kingdom Rush

I have always enjoyed tower defense games since I was introduced to them in Warcraft 3. After hearing about Kingdom Rush Frontiers through a quick look, I decided to go check out the first one as Frontiers had not been released on Android yet. The game's visuals and mechanics instantly got me hooked. I love the idea of heroes and bonus powers that you can use throughout the levels. The upgrade trees are fairly interesting and provide more bonuses other than more damage or range (though there are a few of those). The game isn't too hard on the easy difficulty but completing everything on the hard difficulties is a challenge and requires some good strategy. Then each level also has iron and heroic challenges that limit your lives to 1 and limit max upgrades or towers you can use during the level. These can be really difficult and provide a good challenge for people.

This is one of the best tower defense games I have played and I am happy that the sequel recently came out on Android so I can get into that one now.
