If you read my blog post yesterday, you might be wondering how I played three sessions in one day. The truth is, these were posted about a week apart on my website, but I never got around to posting them here. If you didn't read the last one, then I should explain. This is a blog about me and a friend playing through Persona 3 FES. Simple. So, Enjoy! New one tomorrow.

Today, I'd like to write about our last couple sessions of the Persona 3 FES Endurance Run, because I feel this blog should be up-to-date before we play again today.
At some point, we decided to make Jack Frost, which meant wasting half our money and limiting ourselves to two personae. As a reward for getting Jack Frost to learn Dia, we gained a special kind of armor: The high-cut armor. The high-cut armor is not what I was expecting. I thought it would replace Philip Pizanaka (our character)'s armor and make us sweeter. No, it's only available to female characters, and you know what that means! So, we put it on Yukari, and... it's a bikini. I wasn't aware that there were armors in this game that changed a character's appearance, but apparently there is. I think it's creepy. Obviously, Levi is all for it, which is why he seems to always mention it whenever we see her. I still think it's creepy. But, after a difficult boss fight (more on that later), we ended up with another female character, and another high-cut armor. So, we now run around the dungeon with two barely-clad (under-age) females tagging behind us. Creepy.
So, yeah, about that boss fight. We died twice. It sucked. Dying in that game is like losing your spot in line at the PNE. Not only do you have to spend two minutes walking to the end of the line, you then have to start your wait for the ride all over again. Before this boss, we had watched at least half an hour of cut-scene, with no save points, only to die within two minutes of starting the boss fight. TWICE. Even while skipping all the spoken dialog, it still took us about twenty minutes to get back to where we were. It's not very good.

The reason we died is not exclusively because we sucked. We (I) kinda made some bad decisions. But, the other problem is the AI. This is the first time in the game I've had a problem with the AI, and it was pretty bad. We didn't have Yukari (our healer) because she had been injured during a cut-scene, so I told Akihiko (I'm still not sure if that's right) to heal us. He decided that the two most important people in this battle were him and Junpei. This is just flat out not true. If they die, the battle continues. If I die, it's all over. SO MAYBE HEALING ME WOULD BE BETTER THAN HEALING YOURSELF YOU ASS. That being said, I should've taken responsibility and healed myself. But, I don't like having to compensate for bad AI.

So, after that, more Social Links happened. Our friend Kenji tried to get with a teacher, and then got his heart broken, we're not smart enough to hang out with stoner-man, we're not brave enough to hang out with Drunk Monk, and we still haven't S. Linked with any of our teammates. But, we DID hang out with the Gourmet King, who is so awesome! He likes to eat, and then we eat too, and it it so damn fun. We also hung out with this chick who manages the Kendo team, and she likes us and she likes kids and other chicks don't like her for some reason, and that's it. She's not really that interesting to be honest.

That's what happened last week, I guess stay tuned for another update tomorrow if I feel like it.

PS: We don't still only have two personae, we got more. I couldn't be bothered to work this fact into the actual body of the post.
