Alan, will my lust for you Wake?

I preordered yet another limited edition yesterday, this time it was the Alan Wake one.  
 
And, like any other edition of limited sorts I have gotten lately, this one is also a game that doesn't really interest me. Hell, if I have to be honest, and I do because this is the internet, Alan Wake looks rather boring to me. Not "boring" like in "not entertaining", but boring like in "oh come on, I just did this three times!" and "oh ffs, you want me to go AROUND that fence? No wonder you can't write a damn book, your too stupid to realize you can just climb over it".  
 
Now, the latter point my be a bit bad. I do not want games that are based in halls with walls tall as a giant. 
 
Then again - I loved Dead Space, and it had what Alan Wake has - mood (wich sounds a lot better in norwegian; stemning). So, I'm expecting a OK shooter game with nice mood but nothing more.
