After years of talking about it and attempting multiple times, I have made a push once again to start a proper Blogger blog. I have reached out to 2 of my good friends to see if they will contribute to it but I won't count on that. So basically that is where I will post anything that comes to mind along with those high quality reviews people have come to expect from me. I will probably still po...

The raw power coursed through his hand. The veins felt as though they were on fire. Casually he gazed down at his hand. It was not burned though it should have been. It was scarred horribly, but the burn was gone. What was left was a cross stitching of spidery white scars all across his hand. He knew that if he were to look at the other hand, a similar image would look back at him. He also knew...

In his element, he relaxed in his seat, allowing his instincts to control his body. The less had to think about things the better chance he wouldn't over think. That could be costly. He already knew what he had to do, already knew how to do it. It was just a matter of getting there. His fine tuned skills from years of experience were already leading down the path to where he needed to be. His h...

Nothing today. I feel like if I have to force it, it isn't worth typing.

His fist, balled up as tightly as he could manage, soared through the air ending with a mighty collision into the wall. A satisfactory amount of it gave way leaving a slight fist-shaped hole. He didn't know what they expected him to do. He was but a mere teenager facing the problems of the world alone. Utterly isolated from any chance of support. This was never covered in any classroom. Did his...

Though it was a bitter cold afternoon, He could feel the internal warmth fueled by the mixture of anticipation and adrenaline. He only hoped it would be enough to discourage the elements to lay pray upon his weary body. It had been 7 long months since he had seen his wife and children, waiting at home blissfully unaware of the danger he now faced. The thoughts of his loving family brought a sin...

His eyes darted around the dimly lit room. He knew it wouldn't be long before his hiding place was discovered. The lone ceiling light hung horrible shadows across the walls, forcing the timid animal's heart to race even faster. There, huddled in the corner of the room curling up as tightly as he could, he knew he was in trouble and it was only a matter of time. The door suddenly opened, moaning...

Yes Iron Maiden are still releasing new album! After a few years of touring they have crammed themselves back in the recording studio, helmed once again by the talented Kevin "Caveman" Shirley at the mixing board. The Final Frontier marks the bands utterly incredible 15th album of original content. Wheather you like them or not, you have to atleast give them credit for being so successful for t...

Basically there aren't any. I have moved so many times in my life and each time I move I discover I have more crap to move then I did last time. This time we did it smart though. We used Pod. Now Pod isn't for everyone. They charge a premium for their service because they know you want it. If you haven't heard of this before, basically they drop off a storage unit at your doorstep. You take a f...

Well I am going to send my PS3 off tomorrow, again. I hope they send me one that works this time. Atleast I got to use it for a few weeks. During that time I played through a few games. Most recently was Battlefield Bad Company. Not a bad game as I mentioned in my review of it. After that, since I knew I had to send my system in, I didn't want to start anything serious. So I stuck to Guitar Her...

Well it's not hard to go to a store and see the pressense Guitar Hero has made for itself. I would be inclined to say enough is enough, but I don't know if I have had enough. I certainly have had enough of paying 60 bucks for it. But for 20, Guitar Hero Metallica is a pretty good deal. It lets you play almost all the Metallica songs you would want to play. Sure there are some glaring omisions b...

Just watched The Great Escape. If you haven't seen it I recommend it. Ofcourse it isn't for everyone. It takes a real movie fan to understand how older movies worked back when they came out. You have to understand that they really didn't have special effects back then. They only had explosives. Small ones, not big ones. In my opinnion, those movies are better then movies now a days. Back then a...

Now I understand that websites aren't run on rainbows and sunshine, it takes cold hard cash to keep a site going. That said, what is up with these dang commercials before videos on GB? I can't stand these. When these guys first started doing ads on their site they promised the community, THEY PROMISED US, that they would never do an ad deal that was obnoxious. (Like other sites do, cough cough)...

Well I haven't blogged in a bit and a piece so I think it is time to rectify that. As you might have noticed, I finished playing Riddick, which I think was the last thing I was talking about in my blog. Since then I have gone through Assassin's Creed II and Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood. To see what I thought of it you can check the reviews HERE and HERE . Other then that, I just started Bioni...

Does it make me a bad person not to pay full price for a game? If I were to buy new games used, I could see an argument, but to pay 60 bucks every time I wanted to play a game, that just doesn't seem realistic. Where will it end? Will games actually get closer to the big 100 in the future? I think it is just crazy how expensive games are now a days. I mean I understand that big games have big p...

I just wanted to put down a few things that I didn't cover in my review . Since I blogged about Butcher Bay I wanted to blog about the other half of the Dark Athena package. By all accounts I thought that Dark Athena was a much better campaign then Butcher Bay. The pacing was better, they didn't try to throw in all those side quests, and there was never a time when I didn't know exactly where I...

Title says it all. At this point I don't really know what I should do. I played through Uncharted with no problems at all but now as I am playing through Dark Athena my system has crapped out on me twice. It happens when I quit the game. The screen will go black as it always does as it switches from playing a game to the XMB, but it never gets to the XMB. This second time the sparkle came up bu...

Well I just typed up a good ol' blog about Butcher Bay but damn internet crapped out and I lost it all so you will have to make due with what I can remember from it. Butcher Bay is a pretty good game. The team did a good job bringing it back to the current generation of consoles. But since it is really a port at heart, you have to go in expecting some bumps in the road. The biggest one that sti...

Wow. This game was made in 2007 and here it is 2010 and that game is still amazing. Naughty Dog did just about everything right on this one. The story is epic, the characters are excellent, the sequences just awe inspiring. If it weren't for but a few things, this game would be the ultimate example of a perfect game. Unfortunately it is not a perfect game. There is alot of frusteration in the g...

Well aside from all that data loss, the other thing that happened is the HDD cover broke off. Seriously. All I did was lift it out of the box and clink, the plastic cover fell off. One of the prongs broke and the other was bent. I didn't think to mention it in the other post because I thought they would send a replacement out to me. Nope. Not how it works. Apparently to get that little problem...

Just a quick update on that last post. I lost EVERYTHING!!!!! All my save games, all my PS2/PSX memory cards. They have taken everything from me. Atleast my Playstation 3 works. Great. Thanks. 180 bucks well spent.

While I really ate a steamy pile on this one. They exchanged my PS3 meaning I lost a bunch of stuff. That sucks. This whole system sucks. Why does my data have to be locked to a particular system? Because of piracy? Well lets be frank here. Though I may indulge in a song or two, I am no pirate. Never have pirated a game, never will. There should be a system in place that rewards people with goo...

Well "adverse weather conditions" or not, I am finally getting my PS3 back today. It has been tough waiting for it but the wait shall prove worth it. To celebrate, I thought I might play some Uncharted. The first one mind you. I am one to wait for the price to go down before I buy a game and 20 bucks is right in my price range. Plus I know for sure whether a game is worth playing or not by wait...

That is the message I recieved when checking the status of my PS3 in transit via UPS to recieve service. So now it looks like I will be waiting even longer to get it back. It was checked into San Antonio when the "exception" in my 3 day shipping occured. So I guess that means my poor little PS3 is going to be stranded there for another day. I tell you this waiting for your PS3 to get serviced i...

First of all, I want to say that I am a big Sonic fan from back in the day. Problem is, I am a big Sonic fan from back in the day. This is not a good Sonic game. Now this game was not targeting me as its audience. This is definately geared towards fans of that aweful Sonic X cartoon they show on Fox. So just so you know, I already am aware that this game wasn't made to impress people like me. T...

Super Bowl is finished up. After watching it, I have noticed Jim Nantz. Anyone else notice this? It is almost like they are setting him up to replace Madden. Would Nantz Football be as successful as Madden? Who knows but Nantz is in and Madden is out so the future will decide

Just wrapped up the game. Really this title delivers exactly what it sets out to, an experience of being a "deadly creature." First thing to note is the Best of E3 sticker on the box. That is interesting. Back in E3 it was probably innovative and full of potential. Now though, with a final product in hand, I fail to see what makes this game stand out in any way. Sure it is fun to creep along as...

Let me preface this by saying that I love the GT series. I came on a bit late in the franchise, 3 being my first one, but I loved the crap out of 3. And 4 was just leaps and bounds better. I have been itching to play GT5 for years now and when they announced they would be releasing the long fabled GTPSP I was like Sign Me UP! And I did sign up. I bought that game the first week it was out. One...

So these last few days have been pretty busy. Not alot of time to play video games. I did play some more FFIV though. Don't know if I mentioned it but I am playing FFIV, FFVIII, and I just started Godhand. I think I am almost done with IV, I just went through the cave that takes you to that place where the GF's live. I know they aren't GFs in IV but I can't remember what they are called so I wi...

At what point does it seem a bit much on a blog? Updates everyday? I don't know but I didn't put anything down yesturday so I suppose its okay. Besides, I have game related news anyways. Yesturday I started Ghost in the Shell SAC. Today I finished it. It is a short game. It is also not a very good game. Really the gun combat isn't bad, but some other controls are. Jumping for instance. Jumping...

Not much new to report on the game front. Today was a busy day, no real opprotunity for gaming. I was going to pop in Ghost In The Shell for PS2, another of those games that I bought but never got around to playing, but the opportunity just never presented itself. Watched a movie actually instead if you must know. Dances with Wolves. That is a powerful movie, never seen it before. There aren't...

So I haven't really put anything down on this profile in quite some time. Atleast a year I think. Anyways, I have never been one to keep a blog. Really I started four seperate times at four seperate places and I just never have enough to say to warrent a blog post or just lose interest in what it was I was going to say. The most I ever kept up with a blog was at "the site that shall not be name...

This site is everything that you promised and more! I am so excited to see where this leads. Could be greater then "some other stie" to be sure! Keep up the good work!
