Farcry 2 Review for PC

Farcry 2 is a great first-person shooter, it does have it's problem but what game doesn't. In the week or two I had with the  game I think I was only 56% done with the game and only 2 missions into the second act, Farcry is a long and enjoyable game.  Five minutes in this game and you can tell it's a beautiful game, you can almost feel the wind in your hair and bullet in your arm. The sound effects is awesome the guns sound like guns and the characters feel realistic and are voiced very well. The story isn't too bad either, it's about your character who is sent to kill and man called the Jackal who is supplying both sides of the war. There are a few good twist in the story although there one or two you see coming. Farcry 2 as a shooter isn't that great but it's playable, the biggest problem with the game is the AI they will just stand there and shoot. There is a petty good multiplayer but you can tell this wasn't the main focus of the game. The multiplayer is still really good it something you can see yourself playing for a good while. Farcry 2 is a great game and should at least be a rent if not a full blown buy.

Lasting Appeal:
There is a ton of things to do in Farcry 2, there is a fun multiplayer to check out and a ton of side missions to keep you busy for a good while.

Sound:
The sound is good with realistic sounding guns and unbelievable sounding environments. 

Story:
Farcry 2's story is good but nothing that hasn't already been done before.

Graphics:
The graphics are the best part of this game, there are stunning environments and just looks amazing.

Gameplay:
The gameplay isn't gamebreaking but is really a problem, the AI is dumb, the shooting isn't the good, and the driving from mission to mission is so bad.

Multiplayer:
It's nothing revolutionary but still really fun.

Overall Score:
Farcry 2 is a diamond in a world full of the same old shooters with aliens and bald space marines.
