As an original race in the first Dawn of War it was only a matter of time before we saw Chaos in show up in the sequel. Well the Dark Gods have heard your prayers and have included the evil marines into the war with this chaotic expansion.
The expansion adds quite a bit into the mix with new multiplayer maps, new units for the other races such as the mighty Wraithguard for the Eldar and Wierdboy for the Orkz. And of course a new single player campaign. The campaign has had the biggest overhaul with several new featured including the corruption meter which is basically a good/bad meter and will give you a different ending based upon which side you take.
You also have a new unit, Jonah the Librarian who has a range of powerful abilities that can heal and protect your units, or unleash hell upon your enemies. Along side the planets that you visited in the first game you can now also do battle on the warp ravaged planet of Aurelia and an infected Space Hulk teaming with vile creatures. The campaign is structured the same as the original but with the new locations, loot and corruption meter it still makes it a lot of fun.
On the multiplayer side of things along side the extra maps and units which I mentioned, you get to play as Chaos. They feel a lot more unique this time around and less like regular Space Marines. They're pretty well balanced so far and have some interesting units such as the Unclean One. A giant, fat, deamon who is near unstoppable...if you can afford it's incredibly high price.
Overall it's a great addition to the original game. If you liked Dawn of War 2 then pick this one up.
