5 out of 5 starsI enjoy Warhammer 40,000 but only ever really got into the Dawn of War games. When Relic took a step back from RTS games and made a third person shooter I was less than enthusiastic. I'm pretty sick of bland shooters and this looked like this. I'm happy to say I was wrong in that assumption. Relic made what would normally be a generic game and turned it into some of the most fun I've had all year. The Gameplay Oi!…
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed2008
3 out of 5 starsThe Force Unleashed is an interesting little entity. It connects itself right into the story of the original trilogy without virtually any of it ever being mentioned in the movies. It might sound dodgy story-wise as hell but it actually works. You play the game as Starkiller, who was saved by Vader as a child and became his secret apprentice. The game will take you to some intriguing locations and has some…
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II: Chaos Rising2010
4 out of 5 starsAs an original race in the first Dawn of War it was only a matter of time before we saw Chaos in show up in the sequel. Well the Dark Gods have heard your prayers and have included the evil marines into the war with this chaotic expansion. The expansion adds quite a bit into the mix with new multiplayer maps, new units for the other races such as the mighty Wraithguard for the Eldar and Wierdboy for the Orkz. And of…
New Super Mario Bros. Wii2009
5 out of 5 starsI admit, I was skeptical about this game. I didn't like the original New Super Mario Bros. on the DS. It was too easy, it was bland and unappealing and felt like a sequel to the original Super Mario Bros. which had been eclipsed by the Super Nintendo games. However, the more I saw the game the more interesting it looked and I ended up buying it and to put it bluntly, it's amazing. It's your standard Mario 2D…

All articlesPiracy: Is it as bad as they say? (Article and survey results)
May 16, 2010
I started a survey up a few days ago. It's point was to find out the real facts about piracy. On one side we have companies claiming piracy is killing the PC, hurting sales on the DS and PSP and if it never existed then their games would be selling millions more. On the other side we have people claiming piracy is overblown and that it isn't as bad as the big dogs claim. Sadly though, it's not...
My Star Trek Online Impressions.
Jan 14, 2010
After playing for about 2.5 hours I have to say this game sucks arse. It doesn't feel at all like Star Trek which is a huge negative for me. I think atmosphere is a very important part of a game, especially in MMO's when they can feel lifeless and dull and this game just fails completely. WoW felt just like Warcraft and had a fantastic atmosphere. Star Wars: Galaxies while not being the greates...
Where are all the large scale online games gone?
Dec 14, 2009
Recently I've really been wanting to play a big online PC shooter again, problem is...there aren't any around anymore. I'm talking 32-64 player, vehicles, huge maps, tanks and jets and bombs going everywhere. There hasn't been a new Battlefield(a proper one) in coming on 4 years now and that wasn't really a massive upgrade from 2 either. What else is there? TF2 is fun but its not the same as BF...
No delays have bummed me out.

None. The last couple of years there have been so many releases in Q4 that I couldn't afford them all and ended up buying half of them over the next 4-6 months. There is still plenty of good stuff coming out this year. However, if I HAD to pick one...Splinter Cell, easily.
July is one of the best months for PC gaming in the last decade.
