Donkey Kong Country 2, as the name implies, is a sequel to 1994's Donkey Kong Country. This time around, however, Diddy and Dixie Kong are tasked with saving Donkey Kong as he has been kidnapped by K. Rool. The buddy mechanics in this game are unique compared to the last entry, now you can throw a buddy to hit an enemy, and switch characters to reach some harder areas with Dixie's floating mechanic. There are also places that you can visit like Swanky's game show, or Cranky Kong's Museum that make the game more fun to play. It is worth mentioning that both Diddy and Dixie have a one-hit maximum before they get knocked out, and this can make some levels extremely hard. In the end, This one holds up pretty well, even after 30 years.
