When people say Gamer Rage I think back to when I was 8, it was Christmas Day and my family was over. I had the lead in the hovercraft during the final lap Of Boulder Canyon until the log physics flung me all the way backwards to last. The dam burst and I screamed a noise I never made before or since. Mom said at that moment she thought getting me games was a mistake. I didn’t pick up the game again for 28 years.
I beat that bitchass map a month ago. The race itself was easy but the tougher ones came before it. This game does not rubber band. You must kill your opponents early or learn how to use special boosts and when in the lead do not mess up. It’s l cruel but perhaps most cruelly it’s fair. Even the “cheating” bosses still follow set paths and patterns that just require you interrupting them a little and not squandering a lead. As an adult it earned my respect but as a casual racing gamer this is a 2 star game.
