I picked this game up thinking nothing extraordinary would come out of it. I was in the mood for some alien killing so I turned it on. Pretty decent graphics for a launch title. I powered my way through the campaign with no real resistance (no pun intended) and found myself with a credits screen. I wasn't really sure about how I felt about the game so I played through again. The weapons are pretty stock excluding some radical ones. Even though they are stock, they sound great. The starter rifle (Garand I think) made my senses come alive with its beastial firing. Enemies in the game aren't that engaging either. Just a full plethora of enemies ranging from the small and fast to the large and slow. Pretty basic stuff.
The story was pretty interesting, although I would've liked to get to know more of Nathan's background story.
Never experienced any multiplayer since I was unable to get access to the internet at that time.
Pretty solid game that I would recommend to any PS3 owner.
