The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay2004

5 out of 5 stars

I bought Escape From Butcher Bay soley on the word of Gamespot's recommendation. Seeing as how it's a universal fact that most games based off movies aren't up to par, I was surprised it would get such a swell review. Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa2007

3 out of 5 stars

I really have to give props to Tabula Rasa for trying to do things differently. You're a generically named, generic looking US soldier fighting in generic war torn…

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune2007

4 out of 5 stars

Uncharted wears its inspirations on its sleeve at times but it can't really be faulted for it too much because it takes these inspirations and makes something really fun and cool out of them. I won't go on and mention the similarities to Gears, Tomb Raider, God of War, Firefly or whatever. What really struck me the first time playing was how good everything looked and felt. Not just the graphics like water and…
