Just wrapped up a 3D platformer-focused feature over with 64 in 64 so I thought I'd tier it up with a platformer franchise ranking list. You know, to drive discourse and engagement and whatnot. These are based largely on the mean average quality of that platformer series's output over the years. Something also has to have two games to qualify as a series on the Giant Bomb wiki and I need to have personally played at least two of them to pass judgement.
If your favorite is in a lower tier, then... get a better favorite? I guess? Should be plenty of alternatives to choose from here.
