The Sixth Colossus is the sixth enemy fought by Wander in Shadow of the Colossus. Like the game's other Colossi, it is a large golem that appears to be at least partially constructed from stone. This Colossus resembles a barbarian with a long beard that uses his fists to strike at Wander. It can be found inside an underground temple located in a sandy desert to the southwest of the Shrine of Worship. This is the first of only two Colossi that are fought underground, along with Dirge.
The encounter begins after Wander climbs down into the heart of the temple, which triggers a door that releases the Colossus into the temple's main hall. With the Sixth Colossus in pursuit, the player must scale a series of barriers that lead to a small alcove in the far wall. By hiding under the alcove, Wander can lure the creature close enough to jump onto the Colossus' pendulous beard and begin climbing towards its weak spots.
