The Tenth Colossus is the tenth enemy fought by Wander in Shadow of the Colossus. Like the game's other Colossi, it is a large golem that appears to be at least partially constructed from stone. This Colossus resembles a great serpent that burrows beneath the sandy floor of a large subterranean cave which lies far to the west of the Shrine of Worship. The Tenth Colossus bears strong similarities to both Hydrus and Phalanx, which all take elongated serpentine forms. However, the smaller Tenth Colossus is also much faster and more aggressive than its snake-like counterparts; it will attack Wander relentlessly until the battle is over. As such, Agro must be used to stay ahead of the creature as it pursues the player.
Wander's bow proves to be the key to this battle. While leading the Colossus at speed, players can temporarily blind the creature with arrows when its eyes emerge above the sand's surface. This causes the Colossus to crash against one of the cavern's walls or rock pillars, stunning the creature and allowing Wander to stab its weak spot.
