Hey, where's the wiki?
That's a great question. Right now, there's an ongoing project to rebuild the Giant Bomb Wiki using open source tools and it needs your help! Giant Bomb will host the wiki, including manage user access and pay server costs, but the actual development for it is being entrusted to YOU the viewer!

Why is this important?
The Giant Bomb Wiki is an extremely valuable resource for folks wanting to learn more about games and the people who make them. This website and community have an amazing legacy and years of carefully managing thousands of pages, and we want to make sure all of those migrate and are available day one on the new website.
This includes and contributes to:
- User Lists of Giant Bomb Wiki entries
- Games, Developers, Consoles, Concepts, HISTORY!
- Tags on videos! If you click Donkey Kong Bananza on a video, we want you to go to that page!
- The best games wiki experience on the internet!
But I'm not a developer, how can I help?
That's quitter talk! We need help from designers, testers, content editors, and ideasmiths. Things that are currently on the docket:
- Single Sign On Auth between this website and the upcoming wiki
- GCP hosting and deployment for the MediaWiki app
- Cloud storage
- Migration scripts - when we get the old site data, we will need to reformat and migrate the wiki data to the new wiki!
- VueJS components for stylish implementation of UI
I love this community, and I think it has the juice. Personally I want to completely throw myself at the wiki portion of the site rebuild, but it just isn't possible to do both right now. We need your help, and we believe in you. If you have thoughts, ideas, or anything at all - please do reach out, I'm happy to lend an ear and consult as needed.
