Overview

In Europe the game is called simply "Pong" and not "Pong: The Next Level". The gameplay is based around the same tennis-style gameplay that made the original Pong so successful; however, it features multiple fields and colorful characters and backgrounds as well as gameplay options such as power-ups. As well as the standard back and forth gameplay that Pong is known for, Pong: The Next Level also contains party style mini-games for multiple players via the PlayStation multitap.
