Founded in 1991, Micro World only had a brief stay in the world of video gaming and released half a dozen games for console systems such as Game Boy and SNES. The more notable releases include Baby Jo in Going Homeand Stormlord.

In 1993, the company was renamed as CommSeed (Company).
