A plot device where innocent characters are killed. Sometimes players forced to watch it happen and can do nothing to prevent it.

Overall the most "gamey" of restrictions, the player is simply not given the moral option to verbally interject to the slaughter.

Through the Window

Very common in sci-fi genres, a transparent, indestructible partition forces the player to watch the death play out with no means of helping.
