Co-founded by Takashi Nishiyama (Person), Dimps got their big break when they were tasked to make aSonic game for the Neo Geo Pocket Color. The game was very well received, allowing them to create the acclaimed Sonic Advance (Game) and Rush games for the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS, respectively. Their success allowed them to expand and create games for consoles, including theDragon Ball Z games for PS2 as well as co-developing Sonic Unleashed (Game) andStreet Fighter IV (Game). They also developed a number of licensed games based on anime to original works, such as Rumble Fish and Tales of the Tempest (Game). They also developed Sonic the Hedgehog 4 for Sega.
