    Gameplay

    Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon travels across five different worlds to stop Cortex and Ripto. In this version of the game, Crash does this by collecting crystals.  
     
    Gameplay is similar to previous Crash games in that Crash must get from the start of the stage to the end.  There are also several minigames to beat.
     

    Story

    Crash Bandicoot's nemesis Doctor N. Cortex and Spyro's most prolific enemy Ripto decide to team up so they can take over the world. Part of this plan involves setting Spyro after Crash by disguising Ripto's minions as Crash. While this works at first, the two heroes eventually wise up to the scheme, teaming up themselves to stop the villains.
     
    This version centers around Crash Bandicoot; the Spyro Orange version centers around Spyro.
