Bam Margera is a staple character in the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater franchise. His in-game persona is based largely on the real life skateboarder's antics on the aforementioned MTV shows and has been one of the few characters in the series given more of a larger spotlight. (other than Tony Hawk himself) In Tony Hawk's Underground 2, this is most evident as it features Bam in a larger role, focuses on the "anarchic"/destructive side of skating culture he is usually paired with, and even features his father, Phil Margera, as a playable skater.
