My friend's birthday discord call of DnD got interrupted by the news of her kicking the bucket. It was...definitely a buzzkill.
I just don't know. It sucks. It feels so beyond me, the psuedo-democracy and the fires and Covid. At this point I feel like the US won't get better until it becomes so bad that it falls apart. Literally.
If you told me 10 years ago that my best case-scenario for the future was a total breakdown of government I'd call you crazy, but now I don't see any other option that isn't just delaying greater awfulness.
I'd hope for a price match, but wouldn't be shocked if the PS5 is $550 if they really don't like the loss but don't wanna have a *6* at the front of the pricetag.
It's just a remote desktop tool: I log on, can control your computer.
Parsec probably stands out cause it's got a clean UI, input control (whether they can use the mouse, keyboard, controllers, etc), window control (what windows can be accessed in Parsec), and pretty good latency.
I use it to teach kids Unity and Gamemaker since some don't have install permissions/HDD space on their family PC.
I assume if you limited control on their end to just a controller, and then you used a different control scheme/controller, then you could use it for local co-op via streaming.
@merxworx01: Damn, I wouldn't expect Google to join in helping Apple (even if it does help them uphold their own marketplace control). If it was Apple alone Epic would have a chance, but a market precedent is pretty hard to overturn right?
My roommates were jaw-dropped when I told them the price. Given, we don't fuckin like Disney anyways, but when I asked them to guess the additional Mulan tax the highest one said "12$, 15$ if they're assholes."
As part of the clan of people wishing AC went back to its janky, conspiratorial roots, a remake/reboot of Altair's story and that Levant setting would be cool.
@mikewhy: Some states have slightly different rules if you're there for less than 24 hours actually; I'm mostly through NY's quarantine now (they send me text updates, it's surprisingly competent), and their paperwork on the plane specified different procedures based on your context.
I'm not sold that brief visits and stuff are okay (the same way I'm not sold that a 50% capacity restaurant is all of a sudden safe) but also work.
My job took me to a lot of states a month back. Oklahoma was the least-masked place I've seen since corona hit. I'm back in NYC now though and, depending on the neighborhood, I see probably 70-90% of people wearing masks.
