@nardak: I can't listen to the Sea of Thieves guy any more. I'm sure during development that all sounded great on paper, but regardless of ambitious plans to change the multiplayer landscape, it failed. And the reason it failed was that it was incurably boring, because they made a huge mistake by only having three quests in the game. What were they thinking? Digging up the same treasure chest over and over? Killing the same skeletons over and over? I just don't get it. Do they really not see the problems with the game? Surely they see the problems and can't admit to them.
On paper: have adventures with your friends.
What you actually do: dig up the same treasure chest 15 times.
Watching the Skull & Bones trailer, there was confusion about why the pirate ships would ever fly pirate sails or a pirate flag. Why not just fly the legit flag from the origin country? I'm pretty sure the reason for the black pirate flag was for intimidation, so that pirates could get their target to potentially surrender and hand over the goods without even needing to fight. I think there was a reasonable chance that the boarded crew would make it out alive, if they didn't resist.
I'm pretty concerned about Anthem now. It's months away, and that's what they showed? Yikes! What about a hook, what about setting or key compelling characters? Destiny at least had the intrigue surrounding the Traveler, and some great visual design.
BioWare's last game was Mass Effect: Andromeda, so I'm a tad bit worried if they can pull this off.
@mrstohzuki: Yes to what you said, but even for people without disabilities, sometimes you want to go eat dinner with people, or perhaps take an important phone call. It's probably a decision they made because of the online co-op. But it would be cool to have an option where the host pausing also freezes the entire world even for the guest. I wonder if there's a way to force a pause at the console level by pulling up the xbox guide menu or something. I would guess that because of the co-op, it would just obscure your screen while you're dying.
