Mass Effect 3 and Twilight Princess on the Wii U!

So many great games.

For me the absolute essentials are:

Mario 3D World
Mario Kart 8
Bayonetta 2
Splatoon
Xenoblade X
Wind Waker HD

Very unlikely it'll be compatible with Wii games though, so you'd lose that!

Great idea to get one now. Get a used one for a good price.

If you don't have a Wii, you've got access to over a thousand games.

Also, you can play Gamecube games on it with a bit of fiddling! Unofficially, but fairly easily. So total number of games available is huge for just this 1 console.

Looks fairly barebones fighting. I'm guessing it'll lean toward the kinda Deus Ex style where it's more about statistics than skill.

Monolithsoft - Skies of Arcadia

2016 is a great year so far and looks like it'll continue. I think we're at the peak of this console generation in 2016/2017.

I expect Dark Souls 3, Uncharted 4, No Man's Sky and maybe FF15 will end up being the stars of the year.

Yep, really exceptional game. Hope they bring it forward onto the NX so more can experience it because it's still at under 1 million copies sold. Which is an absolute scandal.

Such amateurs. At least mainstream site have the sense to hide it as advertising fees. Or speaking fees if you're a Clinton.

Xenoblade Chronicles X.

None of the crafting aspects. But in terms of just exploring and adventuring on a huge unknown sci-fi world, you'll struggle to do better.

I also quite like the original Mass Effect in that you could just go and explore all of these planets. Although the hand-made ME1 planets actually looked more procedurally generated than the NMS planets. Lol.
