I'll get excited once I see games that look good and offer something new. I was already playing in 4K and quicker load times is nice but not a big deal. The lack of gameplay footage is odd, for launch games and 2021 games like Halo, Horizon, and God of War. The Unreal Engine demo has been the only thing impressive so far.

I'll get both systems sooner or later like I always do. When it comes to the industry, I think MS will close the gap with Sony due to the Bethesda move, having the stronger console, Game Pass, and their ecosystem including PC and mobile. Their only problem is that the killer exclusives are a year plus away, but between Hellblade, Fable, Halo, Avowed, Elder Scrolls, Doom, etc. they will have AAA exclusives that deliver. They pretty much have shooters, WRPGs, and racers on lock. Sony is much better at action adventure games and story driven games.

@noobsauce: We'll see, no one outside of MS knows right now. From a business standpoint, the games not going exclusive seems silly. "Leaving money on the table" could be said for Spider-Man or any other exclusive.

I'd rather MS buy any studio over EA or Activision, so it's good news from that standpoint. I'd rather they bought WB since I like their games better and that way they'd be on Game Pass. A game like Deathloop is something I would've skipped that I'll now checkout if it's on Game Pass. I don't like the Id stuff enough to buy their games, but I'll check that out too. Elder Scrolls being Xbox/PC exclusive is crazy.

If God of War is really next year I'll get a PS5 for that. I still don't see a reason why I'd get a PS5 or Xbox in 2020.

I've only done the first two missions and beta stuff. Around what percent of the campaign is Ms.Marvel? The fanboy/girl personality type is already getting old.

I'll get an X once they sooner or later give me a real reason to get one software wise. Right now the only reason to get any next-gen console this year is to play Cyberpunk at its best (not counting PC).

It's a great price, but MS needs to give people a reason to want it, which should be video games. Them and Sony have such crappy launch line-ups there's no reason to get either this year ATM.

I think 1UP Yours and their GFW podcast is what got me into podcasts. For GFW, I wasn't even into PC games, I just liked the guys. Hopefully they're all doing okay. I know Luke Smith is one of the lead devs for Destiny. Would be cool to do a "Where are they now?".
