I actually don't like the idea of the having guests much at all on the All Systems Goku. I m ean unless it was someone else joining in and watching along as well like Brad but that is different.
Why do all these things have to have guests? Sorta ruined that one episode of fast and furious for me honestly but I just think at some point this series would be better without guests except for maybe super rare exceptions way down the line. Some of the talk in here kind of makes me realize why that is the case I get you won't get some purity of experience but a lotta careless spoiler chat in this
I don't think I like the idea of guests. Half of what makes this fun is the semi-purity of you guys not knowing much about it. Unless it was a guest that was there specifically to talk about things already seen, things in original Dragonball to fill in stuff, or scenes that were taken out of Kai that were in the original, with the focus on keeping it pretty pure for you guys going forward. Would lower a lot of the fun if this becomes too much of a guest thing.
I never saw Dragonball Z Kai, I only ever watched the original. Kai is a shorter cut where they get rid of the billion episodes of powering up and many of the subplots? I like the subplots quite a bit actually, as they add a lot to the characters... and I know this sounds bad because that almost is part of the absurd experience and I wouldn't want it without that... I think the total timecount of Goku fighting Frieza was 4 hours + in the original? Despite that being totally ridiculous, there is something that makes it pretty epic... I dunno :P I just don't think I actually want the episodes cut short [if that is what Kai is?]
I am also not in the slightest an anime dude, but this is one where I do recommend the full series over Kai. However, in a case of Jeff and Dan just trying to get into it at all, that is fine :) just sayin' my opinion.
Well that is what totally turned me off to VR is cause every game was just some lame teleport thing and as far as I heard stuff like actually moving around like this was not possible due to nausea.... but if this game that seems to be falling apart at the seems can do it... I don't think I accept that excuse as much...
Ok I don't get something [as someone who has never seen VR but through this site]...
I thought the point of how every game had to have teleporters was because if you walked around like in this game it would make you insta-barf or something?
If THIS game can let you just wander around like an actual shooter without getting you sick... why the heck are 90% of VR games making you teleport instead of walk??

And to add: For as much of a mess as this sorta is... this actually looks really cool. If they can polish this up and keep it going it could be great.
I need to play more of virtual truck simulator. That game is fun, and I am not even at all into trucks. I just kinda like it as a way to travel around and explore the neat areas, even if they are obviously a very abbreviated version of those states.
I worked at a funeral home for a few years, primarily as a crematory operator but I did about everything there. I was impressed with how much this game did get correct in some of the processes... but some stuff randomly just stand out as really weird to me. I was surprised at how accurate the embalming was but then it missed some big things that even hollywood gets right in the funeral process somehow. For the most part they did get some details done right, even if it is in a weird cartoony sort of way. I would be interested to see though if this game goes into an embalming after an autopsy though, as that type of embalming is much more complicated [and WAY more gross] than the type that is shown here.
I definitely see how they are saying some of this stuff is treated a bit too cartoony. Not that it makes it disrespectful but just sorta misrepresents how it works. Mostly the cremation blender part [for lack of a better term]. Yes the body does not just instantly turn to perfect powder in a crematory, but the thought of just tossing perfectly intact skulls, femurs, and so forth like that into there was really silly. Doesn't really give an accurate representation. Real cremations are honestly a very dirty process with a lot of truths the general public doesn't want to know, so I will avoid that. Plus I think if they were going to go that route they really missed an opportunity of a perfect "activity" with how this game has those of retrieving the remains from the crematory. I was surprised that it just went straight to the blending phase.
So just my perspective from the quick look, it was surprisingly detailed in some ways if not getting some significant things a bit wrong that could have misrepresented the industry.... but at some point when they are trying to abstract it into a video game I am being a touch too nitpicky, just saying what I see though . Some stuff does sorta misrepresent the industry but for a video game it was a lot closer than I expected it to be. :)
