Tarn Adams, also known as ToadyOne, is the owner and co-founder of Bay12Games best known for the roguelike-inspired city-building game Dwarf Fortress
A former university Math professor at Texas A&M, Tarn has been creating games since his childhood primarily to entertain himself and his brother and co-designer Zach. In 2002 he began work on what would become his life-long dream project, Dwarf Fortress and retired from academia in 2006 to devote his full attention to the project. Currently he makes his entire living off of donations to the development of the game.
