A Japanese writer known for his work in the anime industry but also for his time at Nihon Falcom where he was responsible for penning the scenario for the Gagharv trilogy in The Legend of Heroes series.
Overview
Tadashi Hayakawa (早川正) was born in 1962 in the Aichi Prefecture and eventually grew up to graduate from college where he specialized in photography. His first job was working in the photo department of a sports news agency before changing his career to be a writer. He began writing for a magazine covering the supernatural while also writing screenplays for various anime productions before he eventually began working with Nihon Falcom. After penning the scripts for the Ys anime OVAs, Hayakawa began writing scripts for the company's games as well. Tadashi Hayakawa was the most involved with Falcom's Brandish (Franchise) franchise, where he helped write the scenario for the first three games and even wrote a novel based off the series. However, his most famous work at the company is perhaps the scenarios he wrote for the Gagharv trilogy of The Legend of Heroes (Franchise) franchise. After being with Falcom for many years and eventually even directing several titles at the company, Tadashi Hayakawa left Falcom in the late 1990s in the middle of writing the script for The Legend of Heroes V: A Cagesong of the Ocean due to unknown issues with the game's development. After leaving Falcom, Hayakawa returned to the anime industry where he is known for being an episode writer on shows like Yu-Gi-Oh! and for doing series composition on works like Galaxy Angel Rune, Mazinkaizer SKL, and Getter Robo Arc.
