Nick Pelling
Nick Pelling is a British computer programmer, best known for his games for the BBC Micro created under the nome-de-plume Orlando M. Pilchard. He was also a Data Compression Consultant for games such as Mortal Kombat II.
Nick Pelling is also responsible for coining the term "Gamification", or the use of game mechanics in a non-game context to attempt to engage users.
