Kinuyo Yamashita
A Japanese composer known for her work for Castlevania, Parodius and Mega Man X3.
Kinuyo Yamashita was born in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. She began playing the piano at age four and attended Osaka Electro-Communication University. Before graduation, a representative from Konami (Company) came to the University and gave her a test, which she passed. She was then invited to work for the company where she worked on Castlevania (Game) and Parodius (Game), among others. In 1989, she left Konami and has since been a freelance composer. As an English speaker, she currently lives in New Jersey, United States.
